What, her bathrobe? You don't count as being nude if you have a cleverly placed bathrobe on you! Also, wearing a bathrobe on you isn't "cleverly placed"; that's the normal and expected location you'd put a bathrobe.

The point is to melt my heart thinking in Layla and Maria, naked, together, in a bathtub...

They're mother and daughter! If they are naked together, it's an embarrassing situation!

Interesting, Maria's taking no action to cover her naked self. She has no problem with her daughter seeing her...

Maria is like that, not ashamed of herself.

This strip, by the way, seems to support what we were talking about; that Layla is a lot nicer than she lets on, especially when she's not in public.

I think you should have kept the ambiguity going at least until the next strip. I don't mind a bit of a tease from time to time, just as long as it doesn't go on for ten strips.

On this one, I'm actually with Aquila. . .I've read a few too many stories out of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc, of girls forced into arranged marriages who are in love with other boys and who end up meeting horrible fates. So, the question is, is Maria more modern thinking than her husband or is she going to push for the arranged marriage?

And, Giz, you just killed a week's worth of speculation

Remember, at first he wanted Ace to pretend that he's Kade so she could get out of the marriage. That implies that saying she's in love with someone else would work.

I'm guessing that if Layla is back with Kade, the arranged marriage to Dio is back on. I'm kind of surprised that it was ever off, actually. Just because a woman happens to be disinterested in the groom usually doesn't stop arranged marriages, because it really isn't about her.
