Why don't I like the idea of Cerise/Skye?

Seeing as how Apollo is a rival school I don't see why Cerise would think "dating" the students there would make Mel popular. It seems like a suspicious thing to do unless you claim that you're sleeping with the enemies to gain their secrets, but even that wouldn't gain many points since the Artemis students pride themselves on beating boys with their fighting skills, not feminine charms.

If Mel's training regimen has been going on for a week she should be getting used to it soon for the sake of moving the plot along and because magick can explain away any of the real world side effects that can happen if you exercise this hard.

I think "rival" is too strong a word for the two schools. More likely they like to one-up each other, but I bet there are joint social events and such. More like siblings, giving each other a hard time, but standing together against the outside.

Actually, I wonder if Mel might be thrust into something with Skye. She is spending a lot of time with Tiff, who is now in a 'relationship' with Faith. Maybe some kind of "girls night"/"double date" might be about to start, with Faith putting one of her espers with Mel. Could also result in seeing Cerise/Cess there too (not to mention Jacqui/Paul, Rain/AJ or even stalker-Sandi).

Why don't I like the idea of Cerise/Skye?

I didn't know that was an option. I can't see why Cerise would dump Calista who is Faith's right (or left depending on where you place Sandi) hand girl since Cerise wants to be with the most popular girls. While Skye isn't a pariah she doesn't strike me as someone who's on the highest social tier at Artemis. It would be more likely Cerise would hook up with Sandi which could happen if she thought dating Cerise would somehow make Faith jealous than climbing down the social ladder to date Skye.

It does make me wonder who is thinking "Scuse me while I kiss the Skye."
