She already has done that. I still pity Yvan; it wasn't much fun to see - to me, anyway.
The crazy will bust loose. Either in the stories or on the forum. Or both at the same time.
Mad theory: Eulice is actually a retired succubus. This explains why she says DiDi Chastel looks like she did in her younger years. She maintains her current form because it allows her to get through her day without having to turn down sexual advances.

While blushing Layla is cute, does anyone find it odd that I find a quietly crying Brooke even cuter?

No, it wasn't, but I figure Twigitt was able to fix him up. After the pheromone explosion she fixed up a whole bunch of people.

They both have some pretty sharp edges, but Brooke prefers to keep hers covered up.
One thing about Brooke and Layla as a couple: It would be a relationship between equals, and those have the best chances in the long run. (And are just best in general.) But... Layla may not be mature enough yet to accept a relationship with someone she can't dominate... like Brooke.
A child of 5 could understand this. Fetch me a child of 5.
