Ah, the classic chapter denouement. Things have returned to a state of normalcy (at least as normal as it gets at Artemis Academy), yet there's more than ever to fire up the next chapter.

When will Faith and Tiff share another intimate moment? Is Mel stuck as Magical Witch Melissa forever? How badly is Brooke regretting giving advice to Cerise? Is Faith's view of herself damaged after getting beat down, then "saving the day" without remembering a moment of it? How serious is it between Paul and Jacqui? Can I have some waffles? Oh, wait. I just did.

I do love Faith's total indifference to seeing her brother half-clothed -- maybe -- and a classmate wearing her brother's shirt, eating breakfast.

Another hanging plot point regards Hekate. What will she do now that she knows Mel has the accursed wand?

Next to Faith's "I am so not dealing with this right now!" look, I love Jaqui's total non-chalance and Paul's "the fox has been caught in the hen coop" look.

Love the expressions in this one. And it makes so much sense that Tiff would get all dressed up with little glasses and everything just to record her log.
Though it seems Brooke's ear decoration is missing. (Sorry for nitpicking. X:)

Actually, if one shows up, I give an even chance it will be the little girl. Maybe Tuesday will be "Mel, darling, meet the little sister we just adopted."

I really gotta compliment Cassandra for the artwork here. Everyone simply looks great, and she seems to have adapted Giselle's style really well. It stays distinct from Giselle's art, yet at the same time, all the characters are still very familiar in shape and expression. I know it can be difficult to work with someone else's style while trying to keep some flair of your own, and I think Cassandra found a great balance.
