Wrong. The liver metabolizes toxins, it doesn't accumulate them. Spreading "plausible lies" like this one is not helpful.
A child of 5 could understand this. Fetch me a child of 5.
If you can get to 50 without growing up, you don't have to.
There are very few personal problems which can't be solved by a suitable application of high explosives.

I bet liver has many chemicals in it, though. Personally, I don't like any kind of liver, and spinach I can do without, but I've eaten foods that I hated even more, such as: canned creamed corn, tripe, radishes, and worst of all, beef tongue. (Just thinking about that last one sends a shiver up my spine.) :-?

Mmmmmm, gonna fix me up a liver and bacon casserole for Sunday lunch, methinks. Gorgeous stuff.
After deep consideration I believe Cheddar is my cheese of choice, what about you ?

It does both. It metabolizes toxins as fast as it can manage, and if there's more, it puts the remainder in storage until it can get to it. It may not be able to get to the leftover toxins before they do something unpleasant, though. This is why extended alcohol abuse generally results in a badly scarred liver.

Which is why older livers tend to taste pretty funky.

The liver doesn't succeed in metabolizing everything. Certain metals and plastics, such as mercury or polychlorinated biphenyl, are among the things that your liver will not get rid of.

The only way I like tongue is if it's attached to a human . . .ok, that came out a bit weird.

What!? :-o

Beef tongue is by far the best cut of beef there is!

Stick one of those bad babies in a crock pot and let it simmer, and you will have the most tasty and tender piece of beef that you will ever meet. If you take a piece of tongue and cut off all the skin and tubes off of it so it looks like any other cut of meat, you'll have something to delight any beef-eater alive. (Just don't tell them which cut it is, because some people are squeamish about eating anything that isn't a body muscle.)

Or just go to a real Mexican food place and order something with lengua in it. Fan-tastic. =p~

Great. Now you've got me thinking about the monster Tongue-Tongue, from the Tick animated series. o_o
The crazy will bust loose. Either in the stories or on the forum. Or both at the same time.

Mad theory: Eulice is actually a retired succubus. This explains why she says DiDi Chastel looks like she did in her younger years. She maintains her current form because it allows her to get through her day without having to turn down sexual advances.

A busty redhead by decree of the Internet...? o.o;
