I bet I can think of a doll - er toy she can't break. Faith is fascinating to me because she is so formidable in so many ways. It's actually a relief to know her cooking is subpar, at least according to Tiff.

Spinach and liver stir-fry? That's not sub-par, that's inhumanly awful! :ymsick:

I don't think Faith is fueled by all that much anger and hate. I think her primary motivation is ambition.

Oh, I was just answering EoL's comment about what leads to the Dark Side.

Faith, there's one thing you should know: spinach doesn't actually have that much iron in it. It's all a big myth.

Also, liver is a terrible thing to eat. It accumulates and concentrates all the pollutants that the animal's organism was unable to expel.

Tiffany's hair is drawn incorrectly. It's not supposed to be cut straight across her forhead, but layered overlapping.

I hate saying this, but I'm getting to the point where I don't want to read MC any more. And strangely enough, I think it's the art.

But that's why I hate saying it. It's not like the art is bad or even mediocre, it's just not as good as Giz. I'm not a huge fan of the EC/MC universe to begin with, but the art is so engaging and likable that I've been reading both strips since they started. This change in art loses the consistency that Giz had built up and there doesn't have the same amount of subtlety. The stories that weren't always my cup of tea are now not presented in those beautiful packages anymore and I find myself caring less and less about the characters and about what happens next.

I know it's not always great to hear that somebody doesn't like the comic for something that's not being done badly, just not well enough, but that's where I'm at with MC.

Hmmm, well to each their own. We went through this same song and dance over at P&A when Miss Gisele moved on to do Ma3. While Jason's art never has been as polished as Miss Gisele's, I found it to be quite good enough to be going on with. Same story here really. As you say, the art really is quite good and it is similar enough that it is not jarring to look at now.

What's bad is that I'm probably closest to a Revanite than a Sith or a Jedi. I'm somewhat Grey. Oh, and don't be ashamed. . .we have a lot of Star Wars fans here, and even some TOR players.

"We are Grey. We stand between the darkness and the light."

(B5 not SW, but still....)

EDIT: I was thinking about why I like this quote. So:
- Everything is shades of gray, hardly anything is really black or white.
- Don't assume dark means black. Look for whatever might be salvageable.
- Don't assume bright means white. Look for the flaws.

(And as this demonstrates, when you jump off the philosophical dock, you may go a lot deeper than intended.)

A child of 5 could understand this. Fetch me a child of 5.
If you can get to 50 without growing up, you don't have to.
There are very few personal problems which can't be solved by a suitable application of high explosives.

What's a Revanite? :-\
The crazy will bust loose. Either in the stories or on the forum. Or both at the same time.

Mad theory: Eulice is actually a retired succubus. This explains why she says DiDi Chastel looks like she did in her younger years. She maintains her current form because it allows her to get through her day without having to turn down sexual advances.

A follower of Darth Revan who walked a path between the Light and Dark.

Are they similar to Dark Jedi?

He's one of them...here's his entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revan

A Revanite is someone who follows Revan's philosophies.

I see! Hmm, I can't help but feel that Dark Jedi - as opposed to Sith Lords - get a bad rep. Sure, they're tampering with the Dark Side, which is inherently destructive and Bad For You, but they don't plunge right in and can provide crucial information on it, which most Jedi Knights probably could not. They probably have access to some very unique tricks...
