The orb of Tireseus (which I originally thought had been destroyed, but seems actually to be in the keeping of Twigitt) just reversed gender until Blair got it going. Then it showed it could change attitudes, clothing, hair color, and who knows what else. So if Chloë can get ahold of it (and I can't believe that Twigitt can stop her when she's wearing the DOOMPANTIES), she could not only make Dio female, she could change Dio's and Kade's orientation. So Dio wouldn't want to leave, after she and Kade have found true love. Yes, I am saying that Kade and Dio would become the first committed lesbian couple in EC. (And the odds of that are really pretty good.... at least compared to winning the Power Ball Lottery!)

Really! And they would need to have real, and rather detailed, information. That is (in US terms) actual sex-ed as it was originally conceived, not the way it's taught most places now.

If that happens, I would expect it to take a long time, since all the opportunity for comedy would come from that learning and experimenting.

Although we don't know the exact laws of nature in the eeriecutiesverse, generally speaking members of different species cannot procreate, so pregnancy might not even be an issue. I'm pretty certain werecats and humans aren't of the same species. Anyway It's entirely up to the decision of Giz & Dave and does not need to be explicitly explained.

For some species it might be possible to cross-breed with humans (the various Lycanthropes being the obvious examples). While some would probably not (The Lizard twins).

There's probably a lot of different situations where not only interbreeding, but just outright sex between different species could be fatal to humans. Going into gross out territory here, but this is not exactly 'R' rated, interspecies mating as it stands now can be quite fatal for humans due to transmission of diseases and such.

Still the mythologies of many of the eerie cuties races are fairly explicit about them being fully capable of mating with humans. Heck it was what defined succubi (and in the original myths it wasn't inherently fatal either, just exhausting for the man to the point that he could die if he was drained too much too often).

Not saying species compatibility couldn't be made an issue in the eerie cuties unique mythology, but I don't see any evidence for it.

IIRC The Gorgons were exceedingly beautiful. But Medusa was cursed into her state. (Can never remember if it was Aphrodite or Athena who did that )

According to Ovid, Medusa was raped by Poseidon in Athena's temple, and out of anger, Athena turned Medusa into a Gorgon. Other origins say that she was born to two sea entities and she was incredibly beautiful of face, but would still turn men into stone.
