It is a interesting new storyline.
No matter what happens, somebody will complain, preferably without giving the story a chance to develop.

Cess just got to second base with Chloe faster than any boy. The hetero male population of Charybdis Heights weeps.

Maybe I'm just extra-dense today, but was Chloe calling Cess a boob (using the "fool" definition of "boob" instead of the body part definition) in Panel 3?

The used is about to become the user. Cess and Laura won't know what hit 'em.

Chloe with normal-sized boobs seems colder. The comic effect from her oversized chest (not to mention losing the glasses, therefore getting rid of the meganekko effect) is gone, and she's not funny or cute anymore.

Oy, looks like this storyline is developing into a future "The-Chapter-We-Never-Talk-About", like The-Chapter-We-Should-Never-Talk-About over at Ma3.

I for one am enjoying myself very much. But then, I'm something of an evil bastard, of all main characters in this comic, I've felt Chloe and Nina to be the most boring exactly for all the reasons many others like them so much.

I admit it would be quite disheartening if Chloe staid like this forever and became the Faith Abbott of this strip - though similar to Tenj, I think the return of old Chloe will not happen anymore. Not 100%. We'll get much of old Chloe back (especially the specs, *petpets Ravenhull* ), but she will be wiser, and more mature, and hopefully less shy.

This is the most puzzling part of the whole Doompanties thing. Body maturation and control? Makes sense. Change in personality and priorities? Absolute power and all of that. Sudden gain of cunning and insight? That's the inexplicable part.
I can see how this opens up her ability to be physically older, but mentally older? Not buying it. Does looking older somehow also give her the requisite amount of generic experience and wisdom? If she turns 16, does she suddenly know how to drive? If she turns 30, will she have years of experience doing her taxes? And if she can become physically *and* mentally older the why is she still hanging around all these high school losers? Why doesn't she go all adult and start macking on men instead of the boys?

I don't know, it's not particularly "cunning" to outplay Fire and Ice. They're most intelligent moment was... well, Laura burned her dress off once?

I'm sure in the long run things will settle back to some semblance of normalcy, and the characters may even turn a blind eye to what she's done and blame it on the artifact. But as a reader I'll know that beneath the sweet and endearing facade of Chloe actually lurks the dark heart of a predatorial creature who will one day return, and that creature has no remorse, no conscience and no qualms about doing whatever it wants to get what it desires.

You're saying a soul-stealing demoness might not be presenting itself entirely honestly in its attempts to hide its dark heart?

This plot is just one more reminder that the vast majority of the characters in this comic are monsters. Chloe is not that much different from the rest of them. Brooke ate her own pet whole and remembers fondly the way it fought all the way down. The idea of Nina taking up blood drinking is apparently such a concern that Blair was prepared to stake her. I'm guessing it's because Easter Vampires are much worse then regular ones? There have been hints at a dark underbelly to this comic from the start, and we are starting to see it's true form.

I, for one, always wanted Ace to be turned back to a boy, and I'm happy that it happened. This comic doesn't have enough boys - which is why I also want Kade to be turned back.

In the comic's defense, it is called Eerie "Cuties".

But what she's doing is not acceptable even by succubus standards. If it was, her mother would be proud of her, and Chloe wouldn't need to lock her in a pendant.
