It still doesn't change the fact that the term is contemptible. It condemns women for giving in to their sexual desires by the derogatory nature of the term. I find such attitudes to be more than a little repugnant (especially since if Faith were a guy, she would not have been insulted like that).

Meh, Faith reminds me a little too much of Emma Frost at times. And I love Emma Frost. But sadly as such, I'm completely turned off to Faith and her overall personality.

That and I think she's gross, lol. She reminds me of someone else who I considered an Emma Frost-poser, so I can't stand her much. Hopefully this storyline will go by quicker than the pain the Karen storyline from P&A put me through.

Faith and Ash are the alphas of their respective academies. As such they each evidently see the other as the only potential partner who is not "beneath them", but they're also in direct competition as representatives/leaders of the academies. So when they're together they're playing this friend/rival/make-out-partner thing. When they aren't, well they're both accustomed to getting pretty much whatever they want, and they aren't hiding what they're doing. I'm going to say they're somewhere on the scale between "rivals with benefits" and "enemies with benefits".
