Ironically, Mel herself has been transformed into the opposite gender. If she were nice enough, she would try to help Kade adjust to girlhood. If. :-?

Though I am kind of disappointed with the strip. EC has been doing Genderbender Antics for a huge amount of time. It doesn't need yet another arc that hinges on it, I think.
I think it depends on how they approach it. From the looks of things, the writers seem to be taking a different approach with Girl Kade than they did with Girl Ace. What I would like to see is a genderbending going the other way if they continue the plot further.

Yeah, it was "blind, deaf and dumb date" yesterday (order of adjective might have been different) and now it's "gender-blind date".
