Loved the look on Nina.

You know you're having a bad day when your reflection looks like your silly little sister. And it waves at you.
Start running.

Please?

Wow, this school has some pretty strict standards on appearance if having a single hair out of place gets you openly laughed at in the hallways.

Methinks Layla's a bit of a fashion nazi (it fits with her arrogance) so this could be a bit of payback. And yes, the last 2 panels are brilliant. :))

I don't know that Layla really cares, beyond the fact that Blonde and Blue think it's hilarious.
I swear I will, I'll make you smile.

Right around this point in the Tom and Jerry cartoon the bulldog holds up a little bottle of booze and swears off drinking forever.

Anti-Yuki till the grave claims me...

Kid Kool (1988) for the Nintendo Entertainment System is GROSSLY underrated. Sure the concept could've been presented a little better, but it doesn't deserve the hate it gets in some circles.

I get the feeling that Layla (although very much liked by the boys in school) might not be as popular with the girls? It COULD be her attitude, and it COULD be her perfectionism.

Popular girls aren't popular because other people like them. Its usually because other people are afraid NOT to like them. (Hence why when a popular girl FALLS, they tend to lose all their friends.) But meh. Thats just my opinion.

I wonder if Nina can speak through mirrors. I mean, we can see her and all, but will she have to pantomime everything?

I wonder if Chloe and Brooke will come to talk to Layla about Nina?

If they do, I hope Layla's not using that Lilac hairspray again.

Hehe, good as always. As for the hair, it is probably because it is Layla rather then some school strictness.

Suddenly hit me; when you're in a school where scary things are the norm, what then is scary?

Well, just like in what passes for Real Life; things that are out of the ordinary.

One wonders, well, what all mirrors can Nina pop up in? Limited just to the school?

Layla, rockin' the Alfalfa look.

Now I'm wondering just how 80s her hair would get if she didn't have access to hairspray.

I bet that if they knew there's a monster slayer bleeding in the school, that WOULD be scary for them.
